Stevie Raimond

Meet Stevie! Stevie is a fourth-year student majoring in English-Rhetorics of Science, Technology, and Culture, minoring in Integrated Strategic Communication, and is obtaining a certificate in Interdisciplinary Linguistics. Passionate about trans rhetoric, disability rights, and media censorship, Stevie is drawn to the intersections of activism, communication, and representation, especially in queer spaces. With a deep love for film, research, and storytelling, it’s especially excited to spotlight queer voices that challenge norms, center marginalized identities, and embrace vulnerability.

Outside of Q-Fest, Stevie’s got it made for themselves; conlanging just for fun (with over 20 invented languages and counting!), collecting physical media, experimenting with comfort cooking, reading tarot, and playing Animal Crossing for hours on end. Stevie’s favorite tarot card is The High Priestess-intuitive, insightful, and wise; exactly the energy Stevie wants to bring to the team.

Picture This: Here is Stevie, spending a quiet moment at the San Francisco Botanical Garden among the lush trees and flowers. They stopped here with their rollator to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the peaceful beauty hidden within Golden Gate Park. It was one of the favorite places, with its quietness and lovely charm.
