MEET THE TEAM

The 2025 Q-Fest cohort consists of students who share a range of ideas, interests, and talents. With a collective passion for queer advocacy, this year’s cohort aims to create a queer film festival that connects our campus community (and the Chippewa Valley) through queer lives and experiences.

  • Godwin Agbara (he/him)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: This is Godwin on the Ferry to Alcatraz. Godwin and some other members of the Q-Fest cohort went to the historic island on one of their first days in San Francisco

  • Max Davis (they/fae/she)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: This is Max standing in front of one of their favorite murals they saw while in San Francisco. They found this powerful piece while exploring Clarion Alley, which is a place where street art intersects with social justice, and every visit provides an authentic experience of creativity and meaning. Max loves strolling down here, because there’s always something new and impactful to see!

  • Audra Dyer (they/them)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: This is Audra standing in front of the Palace of Fine Arts, one of the iconic landmarks in San Francisco. They explored it with the rest of the cohort and loved walking around the lagoon.

  • Robin Ferreras (they/them)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: Robin is having lunch with fellow cohort member, Stevie, at Cafe Mystique, a restaurant on Castro Street with a direct view of the Castro Theater. They had some spare time that afternoon and decided to go out for lunch with Stevie, who had been eyeing the restaurant for quite some time. Robin spent much of their spare time on Castro Street while in San Francisco. This was just one of the many places that Robin enjoyed visiting during their stay

  • Jade Hansen (they/she/it)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: Jade is standing in front of Orphan Andy’s, a delectable diner-themed restaurant right off the Castro.

  • Jade Polanski (she/her)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: Jade is pictured above on the porch at the condo in San Francisco! She had just finished doing her makeup for pride and was all ready to go for pride! Jade is also wearing her rainbow popsicle earrings with her favorite flowy flower pants!

  • Cory Quinn (he/him)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: Cory stands by the lagoon at the Palace of Fine Arts positively cheesing for the camera. He is so happy because he gets to spend his free day in San Francisco in nature and just saw four turtles prior to the photo being taken.

  • Stevie Raimond (it/it's/they/them)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: Here is Stevie, spending a quiet moment at the San Francisco Botanical Garden among the lush trees and flowers. They stopped here with their rollator to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the peaceful beauty hidden within Golden Gate Park. It was one of the favorite places, with its quietness and lovely charm.

  • Makayla Rhodes (she/her)

    Student Programmer

Picture this: A whimsical fairy has descended upon us at the Palace of Fine Women (Arts) to help reconnect her life back to nature after a treacherous journey (ubering).  This fairy is Makayla, and she is ready to soar!

  • Adrian Smithson (he/him)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: Adrian is seated and enjoying the sun at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts in between films.

  • Evey Thoreson (they/them)

    Student Programmer

Picture This: This is Evey at the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park! One of the most calming places to go in San Francisco as it offers a refreshing burst of nature within the city. Golden Gate Park contains many of San Francisco’s hidden gems, and it is a must see if you go.

  • Christopher Jorgenson (he/him)

Executive Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Leadership

  • Kallie Copland (she/her)

Director, Gender and Sexuality Resource Center

  • Em Luebke (they/them)

Student Services Coordinator, Gender and Sexuality Resource Center

Picture This: This is Em standing in front of a beautiful bush of red flora taken by our student programmer Stevie. They found these flowers while walking to a film held at the Roxie Theatre after unintentionally running into each other at Cafe De Casa, one of Em’s favorite cafes in The Castro District!
