Max Davis
Meet Max! A dedicated fourth-year Social Work student, Max is diving deep into their passion for advocacy, earning certificates in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), Mental Health and Well-Being, as well as Child Welfare. This fall, they’ll be honing their skills during a dynamic internship at JONAH in Eau Claire, gearing up for their graduation this winter. They will also be maintaining their roles as a GSRC intern and as the treasurer for Campus PRIDE.
Beyond academics, Max is a creative spirit with a love for singing, all things art-related, and quality time with friends. They’re excited to soak in the stunning scenery of San Francisco once more, exploring its vibrant culture and hidden gems. As an aspiring social worker, Max is deeply committed to policy and community-driven change, determined to make a meaningful difference wherever they go.
After graduating, Max plans to pursue their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in Anti-Oppressive Macro Practice. This focus will allow them to deepen their commitment to dismantling systemic inequities, empowering communities, and driving transformative change at a structural level. They are thrilled to join this cohort and create new and fun memories alongside the wonderful people in it!
