Emily Luebke

Emily is currently serving as the Student Services Coordinator of the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center at UW-Eau Claire. This is their second semester in this role, as she and has worked in UW-Eau Claire’s Gender & Sexuality Resource Center for almost 5 years (4 years as an undergraduate student intern, and one full semester as a full time Student Services Coordinator). Emily’s favorite part of working in higher education is building strong connections with students, and being a support system along their undergraduate journey, as they want to give students the same support they received at UW-Eau Claire that helped them find success.

One of Emily’s favorite parts of their day to day is building events and programs that fosters a safe space for Queer students to celebrate themselves, and loves working with Gender and Sexuality Resource Center student interns. This is their third year participating in Q-Fest, and they could not be more excited for this years students to gain as much from this experience as they have as a former student programmer. Emily is looking forward to sharing all of the students hard work and wonderful films at this years Q-Fest festival!

There is so much to explore in San Francisco, and this is one of Emily’s favorite places to go back to every year, as there is always something new to discover!
