2024 FILM SCHEDULE
October 15-19, 2024 | Davies Woodland Theater
Our primary goal with Q-Fest is to provide a meaningful and well-curated film festival experience for all attendees. To do that, the Q-Fest cohort looks to New Queer Cinema as a guidepost. New Queer Cinema regularly pushes boundaries and challenges perspectives, and sometimes that means showing intense scenes with difficult themes. Q-Fest doesn’t stray away from showing films that can be difficult to watch. We work hard to curate an experience worthy of our diverse attendees, so we’ve provided a list of themes to help navigate potentially difficult topics. We invite each attendee to gauge any one film’s impact on their well-being prior to attending a screening.
Our guidelines will never be perfect. Everyone is different and how a film reaches someone is unique. We encourage attendees to make the best decisions for themselves and if they need to leave the theatre at any time for whatever reason, we welcome and understand it.
