Kallie is currently serving as the Director of the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center at UW-Eau Claire. This is her second year in this role and she and has worked in UW-Eau Claire’s Gender & Sexuality Resource Center for 10 years (4 years as an undergraduate student, 2 years as a graduate assistant, and 3 years as a full time Student Services Coordinator). Kallie always tells students that stumbling into student affairs was the best accident she could have made. Kallie is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Student Affairs Administration and Leadership from UW-La Crosse so she is also a full time student!

Kallie loves strategizing programming and policy work that affects change for Queer students, celebrates Queerness in all its iterations, and challenges queer students to think critically about their identity in intersectional ways. Bringing Q-Fest to campus exemplifies the work that the GSRC seeks to do by showcasing an incredibly diverse and intersectional selection of films. She is immensely proud of the work that the students have done to program this year’s festival and is looking forward to sharing all of the hard work with the UW-Eau Claire community. She’ll see y’all at the festival!

Picture This: This is Kallie on Alcatraz Island. Alcatraz Island is now owned by the National Park Service and offers lots of information about the prison on the island, the Native occupation of Alcatraz, and the wildlife on the island. If you’re ever in the San Francisco area, it’s a must stop!
