Primrose Walker

Meet Primrose! Primrose Walker is a 4th year (class of 2025 make some noise!) Secondary Education - English and Language Arts major from Waukegan, Illinois. Whether it’s reading, writing, or the language itself, give them anything English and they’ll be on it like moths to a flame! Even though this is their second time going on the Q-Fest trip, they’re super excited to go again and take in all the new experiences! They are very involved with campus life, being involved with the GSRC, QTPOC, the writing center, the honors program, their local chapter of DSA, and of course Q-Fest!

Speaking of getting involved, they’re also very passionate about volunteer work and community organizing. They’ve been volunteering with many different organizations since they were eleven, most notably the Midwest Therapeutic Riding Program, Children’s Nature Academy, and Planned Parenthood. During election season, you might find them educating (or heckling depending on who you ask) people about the who, what, where, why, and whens of voting.
