12 PM | Can’t Stop The Change: Queer Climate Stories from the Florida Frontlines

Like many parts of the country, Florida is a state rife with environmental destruction and an increasingly hostile political climate for queer people. Can’t Stop the Change: Queer Climate Stories From the Florida Frontlines highlights several individuals and grassroots organizations dedicated to fighting for climate for all. While the fight for climate justice and queer justice can be frightening at time, this documentary takes a refreshingly optimistic perspective by highlighting the importance of grassroots organizing while simultaneously demonstrating the capacity for change when you use queer joy and community to fight injustice.

Incredibly important discussions from a battleground state like ours. Queerness and fighting climate change? Sign me up!
