7 PM | Opening Night: Queen of My Dreams

The Queen of My Dreams follows Queer Muslim college student, Azra, who heads home to Pakistan after her father passes suddenly. Her strained relationship with her mother has always been a tough battle for Azra, and while the two clash through the grieving process, they are able to create a new connection with events from the present and past. This heartfelt dramedy captures the complexity of mother-daughter relationships, the magic of classic Bollywood, and the helplessness we can feel in the face of grief.
