Short: Stud Country

Stud Country is a short film that focuses on Los Angeles’ queer country western line dancing scene. It is the largest queer western line dancing event that has been alive for over 50 years and is has a very committed community. Even with the unwavering support from their members, the event might be ending due to gentrification interfering with their venue space.

— Emma Velazquez

Documentary film Sally! follows author of The Wanderground and powerful radical feminist and movement leader of the 1970s and 1980s, Sally Gearhart. Learn about her activist work that established academia for gender and sexuality studies, political movements, and queer rights movements as one of the first openly Lesbian faculty members at San Francisco State University. With her work alongside Harvey Milk in California government and her continued passion to include the rights of LGBTQ+ people in legislation this film is both a call to action to queer activists today and grateful dedication to the queer activists who paved the way before us.

A documentary that follows one of the most influential figures in her journey of activism and feminism.
